Personal Daily Brief Privacy Policy
Effective September 24, 2026. Last updated September 24, 2026.
1. Who we are
Personal Daily Brief ("PDB," "we," "us") is operated by Fire Moat Meridian LLC, a Virginia limited liability company. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website at personaldailybrief.ai and our app at app.personaldailybrief.ai (together, the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions: info@personaldailybrief.ai.
2. What PDB is
PDB produces a private audio briefing for each listener. Each night we gather news and data from public sources once for all listeners, then choose, write and voice a separate brief for you based on the profile you give us. The two hosts you hear are AI voices, and the brief's text is written by an AI model.
3. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account information: your email address and password, or your Google sign-in if you choose "Continue with Google."
- Your profile: your first name and how to pronounce it; your ZIP code and time zone; your role and industry; the listener setting you choose (Adult, College or High school); your topics and interests; stock tickers you follow; sports teams; faith and motivation preferences; your learning track; your delivery time; your choice of hosts; and any news source you add.
- Feedback: ratings and any messages you send us.
Information created as you use PDB
- Your briefs: the scripts and audio we produce for you.
- Listening activity: which briefs and segments you play and how far you listen.
- Your brief's memory: a record of the stories and topics already covered for you, and your place in your learning track, so that tomorrow's brief builds on today's and does not repeat it.
- Interests we infer: related interests we may infer from your profile to help choose stories for you.
Information from Google, only if you connect it
If you connect Google Calendar, PDB reads your upcoming calendar events, read-only, to write the calendar part of your brief. Calendar content is processed at the time your brief is written and is not stored in our database. You can disconnect at any time in your Profile settings or from your Google Account permissions page.
Automatically collected
- Basic technical data needed to run the Service, such as your browser type, device type and IP address, in server logs.
- A sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in to the app.
- On our marketing website, basic page-visit statistics collected by our website host.
What we do not collect: we do not collect payment card numbers, and we do not use advertising networks, ad pixels or cross-site tracking.
4. How we use information
- To produce and deliver your brief at the time you choose.
- To remember what your brief has already covered and where you are in your learning track.
- To improve how stories are chosen for you, including from your listening activity.
- To operate, secure, debug and improve the Service.
- To communicate with you about your account and the Service.
- To comply with law.
We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not use your information to train AI models. Our AI providers process your information to produce your brief under business terms that do not, by default, permit them to train their models on it.
5. Google user data
PDB's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google Calendar data only to write your brief. We do not use it for advertising, do not sell it, do not let humans read it except with your consent, for security purposes, or where required by law, and do not use it to train AI models.
6. Who processes your information for us

9. Children and teens
PDB accounts are for adults 18 and older. The "High school" listener setting lets an adult account holder set up a brief suitable for a teenager in their household. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
